Meet the Veterinarian

Mik Chari, DVM, CVA

Dr. Chari is dedicated to the highest level of equine veterinary medicine and meaningful client relationships. She has lived in Georgia for over 20 years and holds her doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from North Carolina State University College of Veterinary Medicine. Upon completion of her DVM, she completed an ambulatory equine internship in Minnesota and Georgia. Since her internship, Mik has worked in equine general practice and pursued extensive continuing education for many years. Studying at the Chi University in Reddick, Fl and in Shanghai, China, Mik is a Certified Veterinary Acupuncturist. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Kennesaw State University.

 

Mik's equestrian interests began early and by the age of three she was on horseback. She rode hunter jumper followed by serious dressage studies. She loves horse riding second only to the horses themselves. Born in Ohio, Mik grew up surrounded by Saint Bernard dogs, cats and horses. Prior to pursuing veterinary medicine, Mik was part-owner of a music school, Music by Tritone, teaching and performing violin, viola and bass while singing professionally. Presently, Mik still enjoys musical pursuits, as well as running, hiking and archery with her husband Dante. She also loves spending time with family/friends and chilling with her loveable Labrador Retriever, Dooly.
